In the 1830 Census, Vincent was listed as a head of household in Chesterfield Co, VA.⁽¹²⁹⁾ He appears to have been enumerated twice. In one instance, he was a neighbor of his brother George, where Vincent was in his 20s, with a woman in her 40s, two women in their 20s, two boys 5-9, and three boys under age 5, with fifteen slaves. The other instance seems to be later, as he had added a girl under age 5 and four young male slaves.
