probably, Massachusetts. She married Luther Turner June 29, 1834 in Canton, Norfolk Co,
MA.(59) (Luther Turner is #22.) Luther was born
September 9, 1809 in Buckfield, Oxford Co, ME. Luther was the son of Luther Turner and Mary (Polly) Buck. Luther
died December 15, 1881 in Lawrence, Essex Co, MA, at 72 years of age. In June of 1834 he was residing in Stoughton, MA, when he was
married in the adjacent town of Canton. By 1837, the couple had settled near the town of Lincoln, in Penobscot County, ME.
In the 1840 Census, Luther was listed as a head of household in Lincoln, Penobscot Co, ME.(60) He was in his 30s, his wife in her 20s, with a boy and a girl under age 5.
In 1846, he purchased Lot 39 in South Lincoln. There, he was a farmer, but during most of the time that he lived in Lincoln he devoted much
time to hunting on Mattamiscontis Stream and elsewhere, and for several years when the wild pigeons were flying in enormous flights he
netted them and sent them by express to the Bangor and other markets in countless thousands.
After 1876, the couple lived with his daughter in Lawrence, MA, until his death.
Anceline was listed as Harriet Elecina Turner's mother in the 1900 Census in 71-E Centre St, Boston, MA.
