He married twice. He married Mary Cooper 5 May 1805 in Stokes Co, NC.(3) Mary was born circa 1787 in maybe, North Carolina. Mary died 13 July 1805 at age 18. Her body was interred at Old Moravian Cemetery in Hope, Stokes Co, NC.(4) She had marriage banns published 30 April 1805 in Stokes Co, NC.(5) He married Anna Catharina Schreiber 6 Feb 1806 in Bethabara, Stokes Co, NC.(6) Anna was born 1784.(7) Anna died March 1826 at age 41.(8) Her body was interred 30 March 1826 at God's Acre Moravian Cemetery in Bethabara, Stokes Co, NC.(9)

Jesse had marriage banns to an unknown person published 30 April 1805 in Stokes Co, NC.(10)
