In the 1790 Census, Francis was listed as a head of household with 3 boys under 16 and 2 women in Reedsborough Town, Bennington Co, VT.⁽¹⁸⁾ Francis applied for a Revolutionary War military pension 7 April 1818 in Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, VT.⁽¹⁹⁾ Francis reapplied for a Revolutionary War military pension in 1829 in Monroe Co, NY.⁽²⁰⁾ He stated that he had moved to be with his children (unnamed).

Francis Buck and Lucretia (Buck) had the following children:

He married Mary (Buck) in probably, Hampshire Co, MA. (Mary (Buck) is #8226.) Mary was born 17 Oct 1767.⁽²⁸⁾

In the 1800 Census, John was listed as a head of household in Hampshire Co, MA.⁽²⁹⁾ He and his wife were age 26-44, with three boys and two girls under age 10.

In the 1830 Census, John was listed as a head of household in Franklin Co, MA.⁽³⁰⁾ He and his wife were in their 60s, with a woman in her 20s and two young women 15-19.

He married Lucy Kinsman Jan 1824 in Heath, Franklin Co, MA.⁽⁴⁵⁾ (Lucy Kinsman is #4970.) Lucy was born Aug 14, 1797 in Heath, Hampshire Co, MA.⁽⁴⁶⁾ Lucy was the daughter of Samuel Kinsman and Kezia Newton.

He was christened 26 Oct 1800 in Heath, Hampshire Co, MA.⁽⁴⁷⁾

The present author wonders whether this may not be a composite of the different sons of Francis and John. He will welcome any clarifying evidence to establish the grandparents of any of this man's alleged children.
