Kingston Resident Dead.

J.(sic) D. Arrowood died quite suddenly Tuesday afternoon at the home of his daughter Mrs. Chas. Moberg, in North Kinston. Mr. Arrowood had been in poor health for some time but not so serious as to cause any apprehension for his recovery and seemed to be improving in health. Thursday afternoon, however, he was taken suddenly ill and died in a few minutes. Mr. Arrowood was 81 years old, and up to a few years ago he had made his home near Dassel, but had recently moved to Nevis, Minn., and a few weeks ago he came here to visit his daughter. The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the home, Rev. Harington officiating. Kimball Kodak.

KINGSTON

Mrs. Virgil Arrowood is quite ill with lung trouble.

Mrs. Ida Arrowood spent three days caring for Mrs. V. Arrowood.

Walter Martin has returned from his trip and thinks kingston the most desirable place for a home.

The Peasant Grove Aid was postponed until May 17, when it will meet with Mrs. Grace Bell.

The Presbyterian pastor held services at the church Sunday morning. His present residence is at Watkins.

The many friends of Garrett Arrowood will deeply regret to hear of his death which occurred at his daughter's home Monday evening.
