She married William Joseph Arrowood.(64) (William Joseph Arrowood is #1670.) William was born circa 1804 in North Carolina. (Additional notes for William Joseph Arrowood(65)) William died 19 July 1854 in Donahue Creek, Coryell Co, TX, at 50 years of age. William was buried at City Cemetery beside his wife.(66) The tombstone says "Buried in Miliam, Bell, TX." Perhaps his remains were moved to be next to his wife; maybe the stone is just a memorial.

In the 1830 Census, William was listed as a head of household in Buncombe Co, NC.(67) He and his wife were in their 20s, with a girl in the household age 10-14, and two boys and a girl under age 5. The little children match Anderson, William, and Melvina. No other Arrowood resided nearby.

1850 in the Census of 1850, William was listed as a farmer and head of household in Union Co, GA.(68) William was a resident of a portion of Bell County, Texas, when, on 4 January 1854, it was broken off to become Coryell County.(69)

30 June 1860 in the Census of 1860, Elizabeth was listed as a head of household in Coryell Co, TX.(70) 2 Oct 1870 in the Census of 1870, Elizabeth was listed as a head of household in Coryell Co, TX.(71)

One of her descendants says she was "full blood Cherokee".(72)

I have no proof that the Cherokees have recognized them, they have generally resided out of the Cherokee Country."
